Principal Designer

Michael Schneider is the founder and principal designer of Orange Street Studio. Intimately involved with each project from the conceptual design to the construction phase, Michael believes in carrying through good ideas on paper into actual detailed physical spaces. He has twenty five years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and construction management. Michael Schneider is a registered licensed landscape architect and holds a Master Degree of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.


Associate Designer

James has over ten years of experience in the landscape architectural field, which include work on public parks, educational campuses, mixed-use developments, and residential and commercial spaces. Additionally, he engages in public art and graphic design projects. James holds a Master Degree of Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley.  He has worked at the offices of R|H|A|A in San Francisco and SWA in Laguna Beach, and interned for Hood Design in Oakland and Peter Walker and Partners in Berkeley.




With over ten years of experience, Cindy has worked on large-scale master-planning projects that include brown-field remediation, hotel developments, and public parks. She believes that sustainability and design are inseparable. Cindy graduated with a Master Degree of Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley.



Prior to joining Orange Street Studio, she worked at [place] [pakshong landscape and architecture collaborative] in Venice, Ana Henton Design in LA, Urban Studio-LA, and the Eames Office in Santa Monica. Grace received her Bachelor or Art degree from Otis College of Art and Design, with an emphasis in Environmental Design.


Office Associate

Christina holds a Bachelor of Art degree from Metropolitan State University in Denver. Prior to joining Orange Street Studio, she owned and managed boutique retail operations in Denver and Los Angeles.
